It's Monday! What Are You Reading

I had more time to read over Spring Break and it was wonderful!

I started a new young adult series called Lux by Jennifer L. Armentrout.  I finished the first book in the series Obsidian.  It's an urban fantasy about an aliening falling for a human.  The only thing that made me a bit uncomfortable were the make out scenes.  They were a bit too hot and heavy for me being that their teenagers. Yes, yes... I understand that's what teenagers do.  Ha!  I still don't want to read about it.

Daemon the hot alien (who looks human except for his beautiful green eyes) does NOT like his new neighbor, Katy.  She's become friends with his twin sister, Dee.  And brings possible danger to his family.  But love sparks and he can't resister Katy though he tries hard too.

I started the second book Onyx.  I'm about 1/2 through it too.  Besides the steamy make out scenes I'm really liking this book too.  Just some fun things for me, Katy is a book blogger, so I bonded with her over that!  And she wants to go to the ALA conference.  The American Library Association conference!  As a librarian it was pretty cool to read about those things in the books.

Right now I'm at the part that Katy thinks she's seen someone who is thought to be dead.

What are you reading that I need to add to my to read list?

  1. Have you read the Court of Fives series by Kate Elliot yet? It is in my TBR pile---but a couple of teachers at the HS are LOVING it!
