Bullet Journal-Quotes

I have a board on Pinterest for quotes and saying.  I love this board!  I love finding funny memes that make me laugh and pinning them.  Or finding quotes that "speak" to me.  But I hardly ever go back and look at the board.

So when I found a page for quotes in a bullet journal I HAD to make myself one.  Although I don't read it as much as I'd like I do pause while I'm flipping though my bullet journal and read a quote or two.

I have everything from fictional character quotes (Dumbledore has some serious wisdom!) to quotes I have heard from Ladies' Bible Class.  Each quote reminds me of something I feel I need to remember/focus on.

What's your favorite quote?

  1. Oh how I love quotes!! I have a pinterest board chock full of them, too, as well as pages of them in my writer's notebooks. I have too many favorites to name just one, but two I am loving at the moment are:
"Be somebody who makes everybody feel like a somebody." or "Be kind to unkind people. They need it the most."

  2. I love this idea! My bullet journal goes everywhere with me, so I may have to add a quotes page. Thanks for sharing!

  3. Quotes can be inspiring. One of my favorites, and I don't remember who said it, was from the head of a company who said, "If you aren't making mistakes you aren't trying hard enough."

You can see this week's quote at my blog today if you are interested: http://sweetwritinglife.blogspot.com/2017/03/positive-thinking-thursday-sol-30217.html. It's one of my favorites!!

  5. I've been looking at all those bullet journals, too, very enticing! I keep a writer's notebook & try a few pages once in a while. My favorite quote is from a mystery writer I admire, although there are others I love, too! "Let's just muddle thought today. That's what I say. We can't take care of tomorrow until it gets here." Elizabeth George

  6. I collect quotes, too! A fave of mine--by Dita Von Teese: You can be the ripest, juiciest peach in the world and there's still going to be somebody who hates peaches.

  7. I just started bullet journaling ten days ago, and I'm definitely going to add a quotes page now! What a great idea! (And I love the quotes shared above.) There's a quote that's from Adventure Time, which I've never watched or read, that says, "Dude, sucking at something is the first step towards being sort of good at something." Which is so crudely put, and so extremely true!
