New Student

I had a new student yesterday. I showed him around the library and explained he could check out 5 books. He got excited about that. 

After he checked out I explained he could go to any station he wanted & told him about each one. 

I have:

•a LEGO wall

•a box of puppets

•games

•puzzles

•computers

•iPads

•magazines

•rugs, bean bags & a small tent to read in

He said "This place is awesome! So much better than my old school. We just lined up & sat quietly after we checked out. This is the best!" (his school was in another district). 

That is my why!
